This day was one of the most memorable day of my life...It was the day that Heroz proved to me that even though he has no money he would try his best to give me something...It was almost 8pm at the park when he gave me his first gift to me since we dated..I'm not a materialistic person that's why I don't expect to much from him...but when he handed me that silver necklace...I was shocked!I never thought that he will give something like that to me..I expect him to give things more on his family that me...but he bought one just for me..he intentionally bought something for me..I always thought that Heroz will always give something to his family that himself or me..but that day..he changed what I thought of him..he made me realized even though he thinks too much of his family..he still cares for me..he wants to give me something even though he had no money..I was pretty shocked what he did that day..He truly loves me and wants to make me happy..I love him so much..


The silver necklace has this cross pendant which I want the most..I love him so much..he still put Christ at the center of our relationship..I wont forget this day..

Last Sunday our prayer meeting in LYC is about Praise and Worship. Kuya Jojo taught us the very essence of Praise and Worship. Some of what he had discussed are the following:
Praise and Worship is a prayer.
Christian Prayer is a relationship.
Prayer have its own Objectives 
1. To deepen the faith
2. Prompt the heart for conversion
3. Strengthening our will to follow God
It consists of
1. Loving-"law" of relationship
2. Conscious-"life" of relationship
3. Personal-"dimension" of relationship
4. Permanent-"timespan" of relationship
It also have the following characteristics
1. Gift - In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. - 

Romans 8:26

2.Encounter - “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. -Luke 11:9

3. Covenant - But when I speak to you, I will open your mouth and you shall say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says.’ Whoever will listen let them listen, and whoever will refuse let them refuse; for they are a rebellious people. - Ezekiel 3:27

4. Communion - “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. - John 15:5

hindi para ipakita sa lahat na mahal pa rin kita o anoman...

kaya salamat sa Panginoon at sinabi Niya sa akin na tama na...
at ikaw na rin mismo ang nagpaalam...

Ngayon kapiling ko na ang iba at sentro na namin ang Panginoon...

may pangarap kami sa isa't isa...
salamat sayo...
kung hindi sa iniwan mong aral sakin...
hindi ko makikilala ang katulad niya...

Ang mga Misteryo ng Luwalhati

Ang pagkabuhay muli ni Hesukristo

Narrator:

Sa pagtatapos ng Sabat, magbubukang-liwayway na sa unang araw ng linggo. Si Maria na taga-Magdala at ang isang Maria ay dumating upang tingnan ang libingan.

 Narito, nagkaroon ng malakas na lindol sapagkat isang anghel ng Panginoon ang bumaba mula sa langit. Pumunta siya sa libingan at iginulong ang bato papalayo sa bukana ng libingan at umupo sa ibabaw nito. Ang anyo niya ay parang kidlat. Ang damit niya ay kasimputi ng niyebe. Dahil sa takot sa anghel, ang mga bantay ay nanginig at naging parang mga patay.

Anghel:

Huwag kayong matakot sapagkat alam kong hinahanap ninyo si Jesus na ipinako sa krus. Wala siya rito. Ito ay sapagkat nabuhay na siya ayon sa sinabi niya. Halikayo at tingnan ninyo ang dakong pinaghigaan sa Panginoon.

Ang pag-akyat sa langit ni Hesukristo

Maria na taga-Magdala at Maria:

Si Jesus ay muling nabuhay! (kinukumbinsi ang mga apostol habang ito’y ginagawa ay tumayo si Jesus sa gitna nila.)

Jesus:

Kapayapaan ang sumainyo.

Narrator:

Sa kanilang pagkasindak at pagkatakot, inakala nilang nakakita sila ng isang espiritu.

Jesus:

Bakit kayo naguguluhan? Bakit kayo nagkakaroon ng mga pag-aalinlangan sa inyong mga puso? Tingnan ninyo ang aking mga kamay at mga paa. Ang mga ito ay nagpapatunay na ako ito. Hipuin ninyo ako at tingnan. Ang espiritu ay walang laman at buto tulad ng nakikita ninyo sa akin.

Jesus:

Mayroon ba kayong anumang makakain dito?

Jesus:

Ito ang mga salitang sinabi ko sa inyo nang ako ay kasama pa ninyo. Sinabi ko sa inyo na dapat maganap ang lahat ng mga bagay patungkol sa akin. Ito ay ang mga isinulat sa mga aklat ng kautusan ni Moises, at aklat ng mga propeta at ng mga Awit.

Jesus:

Sa ganitong paraan ito ay naisulat at sa ganito ring paraan kinakailangang ang Mesiyas ay maghirap at babangon mula sa mga patay sa ikatlong araw. Sa ganitong paraan ang pagsisisi at kapatawaran ng mga kasalanan ay dapat maihayag sa lahat ng mga bansa sa kaniyang pangalan, simula sa Jerusalem. Kayo ang mga saksi sa mga bagay na ito.

Narito, ipadadala ko sa inyo ang pangako ng aking Ama. Ngunit manatili kayo sa lungsod ng Jerusalem hanggang kayo ay mabihisan ng kapangyarihang mula sa itaas.

Dinala sila ni Jesus hanggang sa Betania. Doon ay itinaas niya ang kaniyang mga kamay at pinagpala sila. At nangyari, habang pinagpapala niya sila, na siya ay nahiwalay sa kanila at dinalang paitaas sa langit.

Sila ay nakaupo sa loob ng isang bahay. Biglang may umugong mula sa langit tulad ng humahagibis na marahas na hangin at pinuno nito ang buong bahay. May nagpakita sa kanila na nagkakabaha-bahaging mga dila tulad ng apoy at ito ay lumapag sa bawat isa sa kanila. At silang lahat ay napuspos ng Banal na Espiritu at nagsimulang magsalita sa ibang mga wika ayon sa ibinigay ng Espiritu sa kanila na kanilang sasabihin.

(Magkakasama ang mga apostol na nakaupo biglang nagkagulo ng narinig ang tunog ng pagugong at malakas na hangin. Silay tumayo at kumilos ng kakaiba matapos bumababa ang Espiritu Santo sa kanila.)

Maria:

Dinadakila ng aking kaluluwa ang Panginoon. Ang aking espiritu ay lubos na nagagalak sa Diyos na aking Tagapagligtas. Ito ay sapagkat nilingap niya ang pagpapakumbaba ng kaniyang aliping babae at mula ngayon ay ituturing akong mapalad ng lahat ng salin ng lahi. Ito ay sapagkat ang Makapangyarihan ay gumawa sa akin ng mga dakilang bagay at Banal ang kaniyang pangalan.

(Ang mga gumaganap rito ay si Maria lamang at ang mga apostol. Si Maria ay nakahiga at ang mga apostol ay nakaluhod palibot niya at nagdarasal. Ng siya’y biglang bumangon, umupo at tumayo. Ang mga apostol ay nabighani ang iba ay napaluha)

Who do you believe?

The belief for the 2012 controversy so called "End of the world" seems to eat the human minds rapidly. One of my friends in church told me that he believes this prediction. I asked "why?" "Because scientist said so...and there's a lot of evidence...who wouldn't believe?" he replied. I sighed. I would not like to have a debate with him so I just said "I strongly disagree with you". 

Many of us especially those who are in power said many things about the end of the world. One of this was the false prediction of the famous Family Radio in the United States. They predicted that on May 21, 2011 at exactly 6:00pm will be the end of the world. There will be massive earthquake, rapid tsunamis and many more. "On May 21, 2011 it will be the end...change your lives and be ready" Harold Camping the founder of Family stated. 

Many believers of this prediction have sold there house and have given up their fortune just to spread and help this campaign. But on May 21, 2011 at exactly 6:00pm nothing happened. Not even a single quake or shifting of the poles happened. Another false prediction indeed! Many had fallen for it.

Because of this many followers and believers suffered. Not only because they already had given up everything but they all fall short for the wrong prediction. But the worst thing of all was they depend there faith to a human being. They turned there backs against God and followed the wrong person. In the book of Matthew chapter 24 verse 11 states "Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many."

As Christians and followers of Christ we should not be deceived by any of this things. For the apostles had warned us that many will pretend and trick us in the last days. In Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” acknowledges us to trust only God with all our hearts for our understanding is not enough. Have you ever imagined a machine or a thing that was created by you will say or predict that he will die or end tomorrow? You as a creator only knows when your machine or the thing you created will end. The Creator only knows when will all things that He created will end. Jesus Christ himself also said that "only the Father knows when he will return again". 

Let us not be precised and foretell the things that God planned for us. Remember the Creator only knows when the time will end. 

In the past few years there is another prediction that captivated almost many believers "The December 12, 2012 end of the world". Many have recognized and proven this is true. And many have called to repent and be ready for this day. As a believer and a follower of Christ do you believe this or believe in God alone?

“Don’t Touch Me. I’ll Touch You”

Read: Proverbs 8:17

On my way to the Light of the Youth Community (LYC) practice for our Pentecostal performance at Philippine International Convention Center (PICC). I decided to stop and pray in the Blessed Sacrament for a moment. Since it’s only 6:00pm and our practice would be at 7:00pm. I decided to pray there for an hour.

The Blessed Sacrament is just in front of the Church and a few meters from our practice hall. The Church maintained the holiness of the place. Everything was placed accordingly and neatly. Few people visited it most of them are old. It was not my first time to visit. It was last year when I last visited it. I decided to pray inside to avoid the noise outside and have a silent time with God.

When I started praying I looked at the cross and accidentally laughed silently. What a funny sign for me to read inside a sacred place saying “Don’t touch me. I’ll touch you”. The sign was placed at the Cross. Maybe the caretaker of the place knew many would touch the cross so he put the sign. For many youth just like me it would be a funny sign. And for others who are really not into this religious stuff would say “That’s because religious people are too touchy. They believe that just by simply touching sacred things. They would be healed and there wishes would be granted”.

Honestly there’s nothing wrong about the sign. For me it was a proof that many people believe in the power of God just simply by touching blessed images. I’m not saying it was a bad thing to believe and to touch it. It was just all of us are trying to hard to touch God so He could hear us not realizing that He already is touching and hearing us in different ways.

God already touched us even before we are born. He makes sure that we’ll grow inside our mother’s womb according to His will. He touched us when we were starting to grow. He makes sure that we made it to our first steps. He touched us when we started going to school. He makes sure that we learn all the things that we needed for a living. He touched us when we were happy. He makes sure that we’re filled with joy because God is happy when He sees us happy. God touched us when we were crying. He makes sure that we could feel Him in times of trouble and despair. He touched us every time we pray. He listens to what we’re saying. God touches us in every way. We just don’t realize it because were too busy wishing to Him the things that we want for ourselves. We weren’t able to feel His touch because all we see are the things that God has not yet given us.

So we thought that through touching blessed images He can hear our prayers and grant them. But the truth is God already touched us and wanted us to touch Him too by praying, serving, praising, worshiping, glorifying and loving Him in return.

Remember God sometimes delay things we want because He wants us to seek Him first. But for sure He will grant it at the right time and place. We just need to trust Him and be patient.

Because of our worldly desires we are blinded not realizing how God touches us in every aspect of our lives. We are so eager for God to hear us but in fact He already does. He just wants you to touch Him in return. Not by literary touching His images but by loving Him in return.

The sign that is placed at the cross in the Blessed Sacrament was right. We don’t literary need to touch all things that are blessed so He could hear us because God already touched us. It’s up to us how to touch Him in return. I think the sign should be “I have touched you. How about you have you touched me?”

Me a Worship Leader?

Me as a Worship Leader? What that's new!
It's my first time to become the Worship Leader well. I believe it's God's will I often dream to become a Worship Leader someday. Now I already experienced one. It was fun. Being a worship leader is really a hard task I may say. All of the prayers listening depends on you. You become their guide in praying. The songs also depends on you. And you have the task to let them feel God's presence. But thank God I did it! It wouldn't be successful without Him. To God be the glory.
